Why Visit Thailand?

Thailand's circuits are usually built around a handful of regions: Bangkok, the capital, known for its ornate temples like Wat Arun and Wat Pho, floating markets and shopping districts; Pattaya, a beach town a couple of hours from Bangkok popular for its nightlife and water sports; Phuket, Thailand's largest island and a base for island-hopping; Krabi, known for dramatic limestone cliffs and beaches like Railay; and Koh Samui, a quieter palm-fringed island. Most Ghumega India itineraries combine Bangkok with one beach or island destination.

Best Time to Visit Thailand

November–February is the most popular window — cooler, drier weather across the country, best for both city sightseeing and beach time. March–May gets hot and humid. June–October is the monsoon season, with the west coast (Phuket, Krabi) generally wetter than the east coast (Koh Samui), which has its own separate, later monsoon pattern.

How Many Days Are Enough?

A Bangkok-Pattaya combination works well in 5–6 nights, splitting time between city sightseeing and the beach. A Bangkok-Phuket or Bangkok-Krabi circuit needs a similar duration to properly enjoy both the city and the islands. Longer trips can add a second island or extend beach time.

How to Reach Thailand

Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports have direct flights from most major Indian cities, generally in the 4–5 hour range. Phuket and Koh Samui also have their own international/domestic airports, often reached via a connecting flight through Bangkok.

Thailand Trip FAQs

Do I need a visa for Thailand?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and travel document — ask your travel expert for current requirements and processing timelines for your booking.
Which island should I pick — Phuket, Krabi or Koh Samui?
Phuket has the widest range of hotels and nightlife; Krabi suits travellers wanting dramatic limestone scenery and quieter beaches; Koh Samui is generally the most relaxed of the three. Your travel expert can help pick based on your preferences.
Can I combine Bangkok with more than one beach destination?
Yes, though it usually means a longer trip — ask your travel expert to build a custom multi-stop itinerary.
Is Thailand good to visit in the monsoon?
It depends on the coast — the west coast (Phuket, Krabi) and east coast (Koh Samui) have different monsoon patterns, so ask your travel expert which region suits your travel dates.
How do I book or ask for a custom itinerary?
WhatsApp or call 09711 866 323, or use the Contact Us form — a travel expert will confirm dates, pricing and any customisation.
