Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you book a holiday package with us.

Last updated: September 2026

All correspondence relating to tour and travel service bookings should be addressed to Ghumega India. By booking a package with us, you agree to the terms below.

Payment & Pricing

Package prices are quoted in INR. A confirmed booking requires an advance payment to hold the reservation; the balance is payable before departure or on arrival, but always before services begin. For select bookings — such as special train journeys or peak-season hotel bookings (Christmas, New Year) — full payment may be required in advance. See our Payment Policy for the standard instalment schedule.

Cancellations

Cancellation charges apply on a sliding scale based on how close to departure you cancel. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details. Written cancellations are accepted on all working days except Sunday; a cancellation sent on a Sunday is treated as received the next working day.

Know Your Customer

As per RBI guidelines, for any international booking we require a copy of the passport of every travelling passenger.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance covering emergency medical assistance, hospitalisation, cancellations and lost baggage for any international trip. Speak to your travel expert about a suitable plan.

Taxes & Service Charges

Tour packages are subject to applicable charges such as hotel taxes, local government taxes, and — where a package includes airfare — airport and security fees. Charges known at the time of quoting are included in the package price; any increase in such charges after booking (before full payment is made) is payable by the traveller.

Liability

Ghumega India acts as an agent coordinating hotels, transport and other service providers on your behalf. We are not liable for death, injury, illness, loss, delay or damage caused by the independent contractors, hotels, carriers or other suppliers involved in delivering your trip, or for circumstances beyond our control including flight overbooking or cancellation by an airline, natural disasters, landslides, road closures or adverse weather. In the event we are unable to operate a particular tour, we will, at our discretion, refund the cost of that tour without interest.

Force Majeure

In the case of natural disasters, pandemics or other events beyond our control, bookings may not be refundable; where possible we will work with you to shift your trip to new dates, subject to the cancellation terms of the airlines, hotels and other suppliers involved.
