Payment Policy

This policy explains how and when payment is due for a Ghumega India booking. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

Standard Payment Schedule

Stage	Amount
At booking	30% of total cost (advance)
Within 15 days of booking	Further 20% of total cost
At least 15 days before departure	Remaining 50% of total cost

Full and final payment must be received at least 15 days before departure. For select bookings — special train journeys, or hotel/resort bookings in peak season (Christmas, New Year) — full payment may be required in advance instead of this instalment schedule; your travel expert will confirm if this applies to your trip.

Currency & Price Changes

Package prices are quoted in INR. We encourage completing payment in full at the time of booking to avoid any additional charges arising from currency fluctuation on international components. Where part-payment has been made, Ghumega India reserves the right to charge the balance at the applicable rate at the time final payment is due. If full and final payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

Paying by Credit Card

Where a booking is confirmed using a credit card, your authorisation to charge that card confirms your acceptance of our booking conditions, whether or not a signed authorisation form has been completed. If a third person's card is used, written proof of their consent is required.

Taxes & Service Charges

Package prices include applicable hotel taxes, local government taxes, and — where airfare is included — airport and security fees, as known at the time of quoting. Any increase in these charges after booking (and before the package is paid in full) is payable by the traveller.
